Extended Data Protection Policy Statement - Cookie Policy

We use cookies to make our website easier and more intuitive. The data collected through cookies is used to make the browsing experience more enjoyable and efficient in the future.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files sent by the Site to the terminal of the user (usually to the browser), where they are stored and then sent back to the Site the next time the user visits. A cookie cannot recall any other data from the user's hard disk or transmit computer viruses or acquire email addresses. Each cookie is unique to the user's web browser. Some of the functions of cookies can be delegated to other technologies. In this document, 'cookie' refers to both actual cookies and all similar technologies.

Types of cookies

Cookies may be first-party or third-party cookies. "First-party" refers to cookies that show the site as a domain, while "third-party" refers to cookies that are related to external domains. Third-party cookies are necessarily installed by an external entity, always defined as a "third party", not managed by the Site. These entities may also install first-party cookies, saving their own cookies on the Site's domain. Another type of cookie are "flash" cookies (Local Shared Objects), which are used in Adobe Flash Player to deliver certain content such as video clips or animations, in order to remember settings and preferences. Flash cookies are stored on the device but are managed through a different interface than the one provided by the browser used.

Nature of cookies.

There are several types cookies:

Technical cookies

Technical cookies are used only to "transmit a communication over an electronic communications network" or to the extent strictly necessary for the provider of a service of the information company explicitly requested by the subscriber or by the user to provide that service. They are not used for other purposes and are normally installed directly by the owner or operator of the Website. They can be divided into:

  • navigation or session cookies, which guarantee normal navigation and use of the website (allowing, for example, to make purchases or to be authenticated to access restricted areas); they are necessary for the proper functioning of the site;
  • cookie analytics, which are similar to technical cookies when used directly by the site operator to collect information in aggregate form on the number of users and how they visit the site to improve the site's performance;
  • function cookies, which allow users to navigate according to a series of selected criteria (e.g. language, products selected for purchase) to improve service. These cookies do not require prior user consent to be installed (more information in the paragraph "Managing cookies" below).

Profiling cookies

Profiling cookies are used to create user profiles and to send advertising messages that are in tune with preferences expressed by users when online. The user's consent is required for profiling cookies to be used. According to the provision (more information in paragraph "Managing cookies" below) users can give or deny consent to cookies being installed with the options given in the "Managing cookies" section. In the case of third-party cookies, the site has no direct control over individual cookies and cannot control them (it can neither install them directly nor delete them). You can still manage these cookies from your browser settings (see instructions below) or the sites listed in the "Managing cookies" section. We therefore invite Users to check on the website of the third party indicated in the table below.

Duration of cookies

Cookies have a duration dictated by the expiration date (or by a specific action such as closing the browser) that is set on installation: cookies can be:

  • temporary or session cookies: these store temporary information, to let you link actions performed during a specific session and are removed from your computer when you close your browser;
  • persistent cookies: these store information such as your log-in name and password so you don't have to type them again when you return to a given site. They remain stored on your computer/device after you close your browser

Cookies management

In compliance with the directives of the Code on personal data protection (Legislative Decree No. 196 of 30 June 2003, hereinafter "Code") and, in particular, Articles 13 paragraph 3, and 122, paragraph 1, and with reference to the provision of Identifying simplified procedures for information-providing and the acquisition of consent for the use of cookies - 8 May 2014 (Published in Official Gazette No. 126 of 3 June 2014), you can at any time change your consent to cookies directly from this link - cookies management. Flexo 24 S.r.l. will keep track of the User's consent(s) through a special technical cookie considered by the Privacy Guarantor as a "not-particularly-invasive tool". The User may at any time withdraw their consent and/or modify their preferences on the use of cookies by this Website by accessing this Data Protection Policy Statement, which can be "linked to" from all pages of this Website. The User may at any time exercise their rights acknowledged by Art. 7 of Legislative Decree No. 196/2003 and, in particular obtain (among other things) a copy of the data processed, their updating, their origin, purpose and method of processing, rectification or integration, cancellation, transformation into anonymous form or blocking of processing in violation of the law, and to oppose processing for legitimate reasons. To exercise these rights, please write to Flexo 24 for the attention of the Data Processor, domiciled for such responsibility at the registered office of Flexo 24, or contact us through our Site. If you have already given your consent but want to change your cookie options, you must delete them through your browser, as indicated below, because otherwise the already installed ones will not be removed. In particular, please note that it is impossible to control third-party cookies, so if you have already given your consent, you must delete the cookies from your browser (dedicated section) or request "opt-out" directly from third parties or through the site.
